With play suspended due to lightning, the Cardinal stand in second place with the best score of the day at -2. They are at holes 11 through 13.
UCLA is at holes 17 through 18 and firmly in 15th place, 6 strokes behind Alabama.

Stanford's top 2 players Kim and Stackhouse both bogied the final hole so Stanford fell from a T2 to 4th. Even so, Stanford's total of 287 was the lowest score by any team during any of the 4 days of stroke play.
In the match play pairings, all of the Pac 12 teams will be in the same side of the bracket:
1 USC vs. 8 Washington
4 Stanford vs. 5 Arizona
On the other side:
2 Duke vs. 7 Texas Tech
3 Baylor vs. 6 Tennessee
Update - Stanford vs Arizona to begin at 7:50 am eastern on the 10th tee.Â
Go Cardinal!!

The team seems to have the course scouted well:
First 36 holes: 788
Second 36 holes: 737
A key was the remarkable turnaround in the five spot. QE dropped 17 strokes: 85-84 to open, 79-73 to close. If she approximates that, no number five in the nation can beat her.Â
Aubert's match today looks intriguing: a coin-flip. If she wins, Stanford should, too.
Quite a tournament for the team, regardless, They came in ranked outside the top ten and were the tournament's best team save for the last three holes in round two.Â

Many thanks for the link.
Up is ahead in match. Down is behind. A/S means All Squared or tied. So Cardinal right now lead one match, are behind in three, and tied in one with players on holes 7 through 10.

If you follow the link from BobK and then click on "Match 4" you can see the match detail for each player.
Currently, Stackhouse leads by one hole. Kim and Aubert trail by one hole. Kim and Danielson are all squared. Very tight match.

The top seeds Baylor and Duke seem to be cruising--Duke up by 3, 3, and 2 at three spots, Baylor up 4, 3 and 2.
The wild match is #! SC against the Team That Might Have Been, Washington. Washington is down by one in three matches, but up by four in the other two. They are a near lock for two wins. And they are playing without their top two players, both of whom turned pro in midseason. If they can pull out just one of the matches in which they are down one, the Huskies move to play the winner of Our Goddeses versus Arizona.
And speaking of wild, a team match play that was all square in all five matches at the half way point? Has anyone here ever seen that?

Duke and Baylor are advancing to the next round.
Stanford and Arizona are tied -- up in 2 matches, down in 2 matches and 1 match all square. Same with SC and UW.

now Stanford up in 3 matches, down in 1 and tied in another.Â

Brief explanation of match play scoring from:
http://golf.about.com/cs/golfterms/g/bldef_allsquare.htm
Match play scoring works by keeping track of holes won, rather than by totaling up strokes played. If Golfer A has won two holes more than Golfer B, then A leads B 2-up and B is said to be 2-down to A. But if Golfers A and B have won the same number of holes, they are "all square," or tied. On leaderboards, all square is often abbreviated as "AS."

Is Danielson going to play her sudden-death hole(s) now or are they waiting to see the outcome of the remaining match?
Re: Women's Golf at NCAA Final -

Danielson drains a long putt to extend her match.
