To echo JPRI's point, I like that our guys are fielding interest from SC. Especially if they're DBs.

You think that they may be lying to the recruits about the best burritos, and you can get them in gas stations.

This is going to sound crazy as hell, but there's actually a couple really good restaurants based in gas stations in DC.

Three-star defensive end Uriah Leiataua took an official visit to Stanford this past weekend and liked what he saw.

He says he's got some thinking to do.

Andy D retweeted a tweet from Okereke saying he's been admitted. And based on his twitter profile I'm pretty sure he's not going anywhere but Stanford...

That was a great story on Leiatau. Don't know if it's possible for a school to have an official visit more custom tailored to a recruit. Some of it by accident and some by design, but makes the people running the Stanford program look very good in any event.

It's an overused quote, but luck is the residue of design.

Is Jabrill Peppers in play? It sounds like he is open to taking visits and is less solid to Michigan. Don't know if he is admittable, but he would be a brobdingnagian pick-up.

I doubt it. We were #1 until he tweeted that the SAT kicked his ass. I'm disappointed that he didn't have the tenacity to give the test another try. Contrary to what the College Board wants people to think, the SAT can be beat. Just takes the right kind of preparation and mindset.

If the test truly kicked his ass it may have been such an ass kicking that he did not have a realistic chance of moving it to where he needed it. You can sharpen the saw on the SAT and similar tests, no doubt about it. But there are plenty of kids who look at something like this and decide that the score they get should tell them something about where they best belong.

It was for the first half -

Keller threw for 2 TD's in the first half and Palo Alto was only down 28-21 at half. However the second half was a different story as St Francis held him to 36 yards passing and won going away 45-21.
Paly had a serious manpower problem this year. They were down to 23 players suiting up for this game.

Any updates from recruits following ND? I would assume a fair number would have been on hand based on the opponent and the fact that many HS teams are finished for the season.

Here is the video. He doesn't go into too much depth given it was an unofficial but he said "it was awesome" several times. Comments concerning the trip start around 7:50. Not too much here outside of the enthusiasm.

Re-rankings by Rivals and 247 have pushed us up to #19 in 247's consensus rankings (from #20). We're still second in the Pac-12 but -- I would assume -- no statistical difference between us and Arizona (which has 27 or so recruits right now). If we have the kind of finish we hope for, a top-of-the-conference finish looks likely.
(ASU is #3 in conference/#23 in the country; Oregon 4/26.)

Hopefully when Schultz is here on his official, they will send better muffins and cookies than the last TE recruit with the initials D.S..
Anyhow, I enjoyed his video. He has good taste in music. Phoenix and Airborne Toxic Event rock.
He seemed pretty excited about that hotel bathroom in Tahoe. Wait until he sees Shaw's bathroom. He definitely needs to film that and his reaction during his official.
I also had a frickin' blast at Stanford and my friends are sick too.
I've been wondering why he hadn't gone ahead and committed because he's got strong academics. I think it's because he wants to do this video project.
