Ukropina with the field goal as time expires at the half. So far UW has held our offense in check and we've only had 17 points in five or six possessions. On the other hand, UW has no offense against us. Two first downs and 58 total yards.

5.73 yards-per-play is stagnant by our offense's standards (Northwestern excepted...), but is the second-worst performance for Washington so far this year.

I think it is unrealistic to expect an offensive score every time we have possession against what everyone admits is a very good defense. We've been spoiled recently with our success.Â
We are on pace to score 34 against, statistically the best defense in the Pac-12. I'm pretty happy with that.

Our defense is giving up 3.2 yards per play, and 1.7 yards per passing attempt.

I'm liking Shaw tonight. UDub has a very good defense but a crap offence, and the last thing we want to do is let them into the game. That FG at the end of the 1st was of extremely large proportions (aka "brobdingnagian").
