It required overtime for Washington (Sagarin ranked #8 at the time, they dropped to #13 after the game) to put away their middling #58 Sagarin ranked opponent, Arizona, this past weekend.
The Huskies do not know what they have. The team is untested and performed poorly versus Arizona who allowed the same number of points to Hawaii the prior week during regulation (28). Does Stanford have issues? Sure, a one dimensional offense and a few key injuries. The difference is our passing game was unstoppable when we HAD to utilize it last week and our next-guys-up at the injured positions proved to be solid. Both "backup" CBs played the entire 2nd half versus UCLA where we gave up only 3 points and the replacement for Owusu caught three passes on our game winning drive including the TD.
Who should be more worried here?!

Wait, are you racial profiling me because I am from Seattle I mut smoke ganja? Not cool bro. Not everyone is a pot head FYI.
I know that the math doesn't add up to much, but I am feelin it this week. It's time for David to slay the biblical dragon.
The question is this: are we David the 7-11 clerk or are we David Bruce Banner about to get angry?

You're the one who chose PurpleHaze as a handle, made outlandish claims, and got the following facts wrong: your quarterback's name, location of the game and its date. And now you've mixed up the Bible (David slew Goliath, a man) with a medieval hagiography (St. George and the Dragon). This isn't racial profiling. It's "What are you smoking?"-profiling.
I and many here do respect your coach. There are those among us that had wished he had joined our program (twice). I'm sure he's running a clean program unlike his predecessors. Here's to a well-played game.
BTW the Stanford football players resemble Bruce Banner (smart) and the Hulk (strong).

For what it's worth, I do not own one of those.

A biblical dragon? No such beast when I last read the David story in Samuel. It's been a long time since Sunday School but I don't think THAT much has changed. On the other hand a squad of fighting Dragons would have made the stories a lot more interesting.

Dawgfan here! You guys have such a great team! I think it will be a close one. Serious question for you all. I want to wear my "Mickens #4" Husky jersey to the game. Will I have any problems? Mickens is from California and is on the Raiders practice squad so I figure I'd be okay??
Thanks guys. I wish you good luck...but not too good of luck ;) I always cheer for both teams when they take the field and LEAVE. Most of us UW fans are "Nebraska Classy"
Super excited to get down there and see a great game. I think my Dawgs win a tight one. Watch out for Psalm Wooching he's not afraid to mix it up and he is definitely ready to rumble!
See you all tomorrow. Go Dawgs!
