Doyle loses her match (6-1, 6-0, ouch), so we are now 1-1.

Since it has not been decided; Arbuthnott will start.

In the second set, Lord is up 2-0; Davidson is down 3-1.

Lampl is now up 6-5 in her first set.

Lampl closes out the first set; rallying from 5-4 down to win 7-5 (and breaking twice to get there).

Amazing sequence at #4.

Lampl ahead 6-5, but behind 40-love.  UNC's Graham double-faults twice, and then can't get a first serve in, and Lampl takes 4 straight points and the set.

Davidson ties it up.  Current status.

Stanford wins the Doubles point.
UNC wins at #1 (6-1, 6-0).
Stanford (Lord) leads at #2 6-4, 4-3; the match is stopped as the UNC player receives medical treatment.  Hope she's ok.
Stanford (Davidson) leads at #3 6-2, 4-5
Stanford (Lampl) leads at #4 7-5
Stanford (Arbuthnott) and UNC tied at #5 2-2

Prospects are looking good.

time to get Higuchi rolling while we're on a roll. We just need to win 2 of the remaining 4 matches and we have good chances in all of them.

Lord gets broken twice after leading 4-2.  UNC wins the 2nd set so they go to a 3rd.

Lampl also loses 2nd set so #4 singles goes to a 3rd set as well.

Not only did she double fault to go down 5-6 but she had QUADRUPLE match point to seal the win at 5-4. Still in good shape but UGH!

How do you get to quadruple match point.  40-0 gives you only three chances to win.

The video is getting glitchy for me so I can only follow the running scores.

Higuchi lost a tiebreaker for the 1st set but is up 5-2 in the second.

Arbuthnott up 4-2 in the 3rd set.
