I asked on the Zag board about the zone they were playing against us, since in their game against Tennessee that I watched they played all man.  The answer:  the zone was a desperation move designed to protect their shrunken roster. 

Even more impressive when I consider that Gonzaga installed a zone just for us, and it worked reasonably well--it certainly limited our ability to score in the paint.
