That was one of the most disastrous quarters of the season.  10-28.  Even when Iriafen came back in her smooth shot was off.  And we won't see Brink for a few more minutes.  Meanwhile, our defense has fallen apart.

James had 16 points in that quarter, after we held her to 4 in the first half.

The refs aren’t responsible for multiple brick 3’s, multiple balls thrown out of bounds, multiple failures to guard wide open 3’s, and multiple other bonehead plays. Other than that, though, it’s probably the refs fault…

We have really struggled from 3 in stretches this tournament, it's really hurt us.  How Brink goes from 0 fouls in the 1st half, to 4 in the 3rd quarter is beyond me, but the refs probably aren't helping.  Need NC State to cool off a bit, and us to hit some open shots.  So many clankers...

This is not on the refs. The NC State guards have become much more aggressive with Stanford a step behind them. Stanford gave up 28 points in the 3rd quarter to a team that scored 27 points in the first half. And no one can make a shot for Stanford from outside of 3 feet. Things have continued in the 4th quarter.

Brink just picked up her 5th foul, all in the 2nd half.
