Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

Seems like Taylor is getting 10 yards or -2 yards.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Gauss - 11-17-2012

How good is Zychlinski?
He just keeps punting inside the 10 yard line. Details like having good players for special teams is what makes me believe that Stanford has trully turned a corner and is here to stay.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

I've been very impressed with Zychlinski.

But pump your brakes there- our FG kicking is still the very definition of shaky.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

Well shit.

2nd half going according to history.

Looks like Montgomery stripped the ball there though, weird.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Gauss - 11-17-2012

And now fumble.
I've seen this movie before. It doesn't end well...

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Farm93 - 11-17-2012

That fumble was very bad news.  It will take a very special team to keep Oregon from scoring here.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Tycho124 - 11-17-2012

And it begins.  :'(

Seen it before?  We own it on Blu-Ray and DVD.

At least we know Stanford has a very special D.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

Wow brobdingnagian stop.

Couldn't help but notice the Oregon kicker had only one previous attempt this year.

They probably should've just gone for it.

Oregon missed the FG ... So... There ya go

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Gauss - 11-17-2012

This year's D is the difference.
We just need Hogan making the easy plays, and the O-line to get some push. Come on, we can win this!

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

Still think we need a turnover or two to pull it off. Gonna be hard to reverse the fact that they're ahead.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - estephan500 - 11-17-2012

Hogan just too darn shaky...

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Gauss - 11-17-2012

Second game with a Taylor fumble in a row...
We keep wasting the amazing D, sniff...

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - estephan500 - 11-17-2012

And we fumble it away again... our ability to hang onto the ball...  This is just the strangest game ever.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

Damnit Taylor....great run, and then fumble.

Our defense is giving a herculean effort here, and our offense is giving it away.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - Rando - 11-17-2012

Our defense is way too good to count us out yet. We just need to continue stopping them and get one TD.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - yvonne - 11-17-2012

Three turnovers is very discouraging. This could be the part where the Ducks become the Ducks again.

Re: Stanford - Oregon Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-17-2012

another 4th down stop would be brobdingnagian....
