I'm not feeling that we are anywhere near to dominating this game -- need to adjust and get confident. Also, the Spartans, with momentum, get the ball to start the second half.

Yup. Hopefully our defense steps up to the plate in the second half like last year. Our offense is close...we've only hit on one of our long bombs so far, had a couple drops and a couple just out of reach.

And does someone know Gaffney's stats on the game? I recall one early breakaway and one 10 yard rush on a third-and-12 situation. And many tackles for a loss.
What happens to Stanford when Gaffney is controlled?

Three PI calls. The refs also failed to call PI when Cajuste got hit before the ball arrived, causing him to drop the ball. It wasn't as blatantly awful as the other two calls, but the refs still got it wrong.

Fox field reporter said that Shaw's simple guidance to the team at halftime was "Don't act like you don't have the lead" ... did she state that incorrectly? My instinct would be to say "don't act like you have the lead."
In any case I hope adjustments and guidance was richer than that overall.
Tie game, and Michigan State continues to demonstrate that the pass works against us.

Holy crap! Just tackle the receiver!!
The Stanford defender (23?) was dragged like 10 yards because he was trying to strip the ball out rather than stop the receiver.

Starting a drive on the 7. This would normally be Gaffney, Gaffney, Gaffney. If it's not, we are simply a different team.
