Can you put together a poll and make it a guessing contest?

*Actually, scratch that*  If you really want to find out, the video reveals it.  But I agree, fan bugging is not the way to go here; let the process unfold without intervention.

I like Dalton's personality a lot-seems like a genuine nice young man.

I love the way he gets excited by the closet doors operating the light.  It is a good reminder that theses guys are young and just beginning to see the world.  I am fighting to avoid nostalgia overload about being that young.  I hope the guys have a great weekend and come to Stanford to play and learn.

Cheers,
Pete F.

You should see him when he opens the refrigerator!

Re: Big Visit - Farm93 - 01-10-2014

I think as a pre-Stanford teenager I would have thought that type of hotel room was sweet too.  I recall Schultz had a similar reaction to the South Bend hotel.  He even had a similar reaction to his unofficial Stanford visit hotel even though that hotel was at best a 2.5 star hotel chain.  That seemed to be a little much, but I suspect even now he would not be as excited to go back to that hotel.

With or without the NFL, he probably will see much nicer hotels after he graduates from college because he seems to be a pretty smart kid with solid communication skills.

BTW - Do you think anyone will tell him his X-Box One skills will probably deteriorate if he attends Stanford?

If he thinks that's sick, he should see the hotel that Stanford stays in for the Rose Bowl!

The peak of my Halo skillz were during my time at Stanford. Also I can tell you from experience that Stanford football players are, on the whole, dominant when it comes to Madden. Jon Alston was a beast.

Re: Big Visit - Bruce Wang - 01-10-2014

I hadn't thought of the Rosewood as a recruiting advantage.  I hope there are some 2015 and 2016 guys who see this and think "Damn.  I need to take an official to Stanford." Can't imagine there's a hotel next to the campus of an FBS school as nice as the Rosewood.  Certainly it's more impressive than the Hilton in South Bend.  The Rosewood is the hotel that serves Silicon Valley's venture capital complex, which is across the street. Its bar and lounge is the world's premier watering hole for technology finance.

Any recruits or parents that are reading this.  Here's what's really impressive: Stanford owns this hotel.  It's just managed by the Rosewood.

Arrington Farrar, Class of '15 commit, has been tweeting all week that he wishes he were a senior now so he could be on this trip right now.
