Washington State did worse than that all day, so they call the PI on Stanford.

Yeah, he looked like he was about to pass out. And how was that not a pass interference on him in the end zone?

For copulations sake... 8 yard gain on first down... and a false start makes it second and 7 instead of second and 2. :'(

A subtle error -- snapped the ball on the punt with 10 seconds left on the play clock. Surely could've worked it a few more seconds.

I just keep thinking: "C.al hung 60 on these guys." On the other hand, they hung 59 on C.al.

What I liked most was seeing Alexander makings plays and being around the ball. I bet he starts by the end of the season Hulk was right about him.
What I liked least: I'm very worried about Big Game.

Hey, a running back punched it in from about 5 yards out! And Williamson hit the upright and it went through. I think the point spread was around 17, lol.

Is Leach seriously sending out Halliday again? What a psychopath.
(OK, it's not Halliday now. But I swear on that first play it was.)
Never mind, it is Halliday. What a weird, dumb jerk.

A pretty good victory, 34-17. Not a blow out, but not a nail biter either. For those perpetual complainers about the officiating, even the announcers were complaining about them.

What do the injury situations look like for Vaughters and Cajuste (I wasn't able to watch)?

Was Wright's TD the 1st rushing TD by a Stanford RB this season?

The officials drew a lot of boos from the stands!

I don't think I have ever seen Shaw so upset. Threw his headset three times and once marched onto the field. Two obvious PIs against them happened right in front of an official. Then in the 4th they call two PIs against us. And the illegal movement call on Cajuste was just bizarre and so unnecessary. It seemed every flag required a lengthy conference among officials. Trying to figure out the call? The penalty? The rule? Just weird. There needs to be penalties when refs are this incompetent.

In a post-game interview, Shaw said Vaughters would get an x-ray and see if he will be cleared to play; Cajuste will be "evaluated" (looked to me like he may have a concussion).
Apparently, Hogan's sore hip was a blessing in disguise. According to Shaw, it forced Kevin to "slow down" and be a little more deliberate and focused. He was 23/35, 284 yds, 3 TDs and no interceptions. Not bad.

We have a winning team with a fanged and hungry defense, but watching our endeavors to put points on the board is not for the squeamish.
