The thing is, what could the coaches do? Basically nothing they tried was working because the OL couldn't block worth a damn.

TE screens
draw plays
max protection on 3rd and 7 plus

Literally none of that happened.  Yes -- I'm salty and rustled.

And that could actually happen. UKLA probably drops another game and wins the south while U-dub runs the table. If U-dub goes to the playoff does UKLA automatically get the rose Bowl bid even with 3 losses and 2 (or more) in conference play? 

Of course, this all assumes Stanford wins out --- which is far from a certainty.

I never saw them rush more than 4. The fact that we were getting brutalized against a 4-man rush is really the story of the game. Close to impossible to win if that's happening.

We really need an enforcer at LB. We have talent on the line and in the secondary, it's too easy to gain ground in space.
