Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - M T - 09-17-2016

Turnover on downs, down 17.  That's gotta hurt the coaches.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - 82 Card - 09-17-2016

Need a back breaker now.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - PalmTree - 09-17-2016

Ugh underthrown

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - dabigv13 - 09-17-2016

Ewwww...

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - M T - 09-17-2016

I see no face mask, unless a hand on the top of the helmet counts.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-17-2016

Pass is like a punt . . .

penalty hurts.  Cheapie like the one on the Mac punt reception in first half . . . we are even

I really, really, really HATE IT when the SC band plays ARN.

On top shouldn't count. If his fingers got into the opening it would. I am at the game and didn't see if it was or not.

Needle, that face mask penalty's on you, dude ;-)

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - dabigv13 - 09-17-2016

What an absurd penalty.

Not that bad of a turnover considering it's sort of like a punt.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - jacketree - 09-17-2016

Face mask was after they were both down.

Horrible throw by Burns, but good as a punt until penalty.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - PalmTree - 09-17-2016

WOW, OW...Holder!

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - dabigv13 - 09-17-2016

Hmm that could have been a catch and fumble. Just happened too fast for the refs.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - dabigv13 - 09-17-2016

Man, our secondary is as good as it's been since I've been a Stanford fan.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-17-2016

No "football move"?

A bit of attrition:  Holder & Jackson with some dings.  Time for a few first downs to burn time!

Theft is the sincerest form of flattery...

Thanks to SC for abandoning the run. But much credit to the D for basically shutting down SC's passing game.

Re: Stanford-SC Game Thread - jacketree - 09-17-2016

Not sure there was a football move there, but that would have been the dagger.

Couple of first downs would be useful here.

MAN, our defense looks tough...

He had the ball in full possession and took a step. Think it just happened too quickly.
