Leech is just toying with us now.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - Mick - 10-08-2016

We can't tackle and for some reason, our DBs refuse to look back for the pass.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - jacketree - 10-08-2016

Feels like we're about to get run out of the gym two weeks in a row.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - amartinsu13 - 10-08-2016

Why are we running so many plays out of shotgun?  Is it because the OL is that bad, or because Burns is so bad at every other formation we have to run out of his high school shotgun?

I think that is pissing me off more than anything

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - jacketree - 10-08-2016

But at least we shouldn't turtle.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - martyup - 10-08-2016

I think for two reasons.  First we are not really using fB, because Marx is out and the staff evidently doesn't trust Harrell.  So not much of an advantage in running out of the I.  And because our offensive line is prone to breakdowns, it gives Burns a bit more of a view on where the rush is coming from.

21-3 and little resistance after halftime.  Not a good sign at all moving forward this season.

A second play fake and Burns overthrew Irwin, who was well covered.

Rector draws a PI on an uncatchable ball.  Refs taking potty.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - BostonCard - 10-08-2016

Jjaw was wide open.  A better throw would have gotten at least another 10 yds.

And a delay of game... Of course.

Seriously, why the hell does it take 20 seconds to get in the play call in?? This is unwatchable stuff!

Burns throws a pick. Not looking good now.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - BostonCard - 10-08-2016

Burns hit as he threw.  iNT.

I threw up a bit.

Re: WSU-Stanford Game Thread - Trevmiesterj - 10-08-2016

Burns singlehandedly killed that drive with delay of game and poor decision making.  The overthrow was positively Gabbertesque.

I am starting to think that Ryan Burns is simply not that good.

Delay of games has burned this team for years... That's on the people calling the plays
