He looks *mostly* fundamentally better (aside from his quota-filling short pass to the dirt...) but let's keep in mind this is an awful defense.
Also liking the looks of JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Having a very good freshman season from a player few anticipated would be a positive factor.

Yes. Also it's correct that the ankle is what they were looking at on the field.

And McCaffrey did a great job juking two guys out for a 7 yard run.
I thought Chryst floated that ball when he should've just floated it. That made McCaffrey slow up and have the db time to get there. Maybe that was the design for some reason.
And definitely Thomas's ankle, it was iced up on the sideline. I'd guess he's at least done for the half.

Keller has 150 yards passing. Why did we need to call two timeouts in a row?

Can Shaw hire a guy to take care of these delay of game and timeout issues? I mean back to back timeouts. What if the team wants to run a two minute drive. Blergh.

Hope THOMAS is ok. That did not look good.
This season's injury report has brought us back to earth in a very real way. Just when things seem to be clicking here comes another big blow.

Good thing they called timeout. They had 13 guys on the field.

This is getting stupid.

Dunno, but somehow it made Oregon call one too.

He put his finger to his facemask to shush the crowd, is my guess. Saw it live and thought it might get called.

Arcega-Whiteside did the same thing on his TD. unsportsmanlike penalties are mostly dumb. (To call, and to get called.)

Ah. Yeah, that'll get a call. I didn't see it.

Right, that's a penalty you could probably eliminate to no ill effect. Whatever, hard to complain with gotta this game is going.

So, when are we supposed to submit our predictions for the full game score? ;)

McCaffrey's at 103 yards before the half ends.
Chryst to Rector for a nice gain. Schultz for 9 yards.

Three TDs for McCaffrey, 14 carries for 131 yards.
38 points.
Offensive line dominating point of attack.
And Stanford gets the ball to start the second half.
