Coach Dunning was asked about Hodson at the post-match press conference, and he said quite emphatically that she is coming back next season. It was great to hear that!
BTW, you can watch the press conference on NCAA Volleyball's Facebook page. Also, the award ceremony was recorded and is available on ESPN3.

I absolutely loved that the last point of our National Championship season - match point started with a bad serve receive so Kelsey Humphreys set Plummer for the final kill. Incredible way to end her Stanford career.

Congratulations, Cardinal! Nice going to a superb young team. Look forward to Haley's return next year and perhaps another NCAA Championship!!!

I had a much harder time watching WVB this year compared with last, and I am fearful for WBB too. Comcast Xfinity took away the Pac 12 Bay Area channel and replaced it with the generic Pac 12 channel (on my package.) I am also getting many fewer replays of Stanford football games. I don't know how often I have tuned in to see some replay of a Colorado game--something I would never have seen a year ago. In any case, it means many fewer Stanford games on my cable than a year ago.
The bright side--the Bay Area channel was also loaded with C.al stuff, obviously, and I am not sorry to see that go.

Yes, he was emphatic about her return. That is encouraging. However she has not congratulated or wished the team well on social media at any point after her departure. That seems odd to me. I don't follow social media, however there are fans on VT who follow it closely. If Hodson had posted anything, those fans would have posted about it on VT.

There is still a low def PACBA channel. However, I have no idea what package that is a part of. It's not authorized on my service. I have to watch PACBA feed on my computer. The video comes in very clear, at least as good as the Comcast high def feed. The only issue is that the games don't show up on my TV schedule so I have to keep track of what's on when separately.

I had to get another sports package on Comcast to get the low def channel. So now I watch Stanford for most games. Of course I'm at WBB and WVB.
Hodson isn't big on twitter or Facebook. But that doesn't mean she didn't text the team often

My Comcast Xfinity is weird: the Bay Area channel got moved to low-def, and now I can't watch it live, but I can record it on the DVR and watch it as a saved program. Not sure why--any ideas besides calling Comcast (probably a low-yield option)?
