Burns comes in, but I'm not sure if it was for a specialty play.  Scarlett is the new vulture (though he urned it on this series).  Three touchdowns in the half!

Scarlett has seriously upped his game.

Chip Kelly is the half time analyst!  YES!!!

Kelly's a fan.  Why wouldn't you be?

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - lex24 - 08-26-2017

He looks more decisive.

He's definitely cremating the Rice defense.

Has Quentin Meeks played?????

I think I neglected to mention that my projected score was for halftime, not the full game.

I love rugby but this whole sideline byplay with announcer and pro rugby player is just a waste. And a reall pisser.

Another good sign, Chryst looks 100% recovered from his knee injury.

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - PalmTree - 08-26-2017

Jordan Fox - wasn't he the LB who had a bit of a circuitous journey here after signing an LOI?  If so, glad to see him contributing now

Getting a frustration-related unsportsmanlike penalty right in front of your father -- priceless.

...well, except he looked like he was pulling his zipper up or something when they got that first camera shot on him...  :D

"Can we just be honest, Rice stinks."  Jeez. That's not nice

I loved the 20-second slow headshake.

Yeah, this is one of those are we that good or they that bad games.
Rice is clearly not a good team, but I think we are impressive nonetheless.

Chip Kelly mentioning Zach Ertz was great. Stanford-Oregon 2012?

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - OutsiderFan - 08-26-2017

Walker Little is getting a lot of snaps at RT.  Would like to see Costello play most of 2nd half.

Bet we'll see lots of Speights and Maddox in 2nd half too.

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - Bruce Wang - 08-26-2017

Did anybody else catch a glimpse of Arcega-Whiteside dressed on the sideline?  That's a good sign.

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - CompSci87 - 08-26-2017

Yes, I noticed JJAW suited up. He was on camera several times.

Re: Stanford - Rice game thread - stupac2 - 08-26-2017

What. A. Catch. Weddington is the real deal.
