Although this thread has taken some turns from its original topic, I suggest that we close it.

I remember we had an old rule at work not to talk about someone if they were not in the room to hear what we're saying, and were not able to defend themselves.

Most everything we've discussed about johnny053 has been positive, and, even when discussing reasons for his suspension, I haven't seen anything unfair. But I imagine it could be frustrating to see people debating my qualifications, or the merits of my suspension, at a time when I have been made unable to reply.

So I recommend we close this thread until we know the suspension is lifted, or unless a person has been permanently banned.
