Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - jacketree - 09-23-2017

Costello era opens with a resounding...something.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - amartinsu13 - 09-23-2017

I thought we were supposed to be able to run on this garbage UCLA defense?

We can't pass... so we can't run... so we have NO OFFENSE.

This is literally unwatchable.  So glad I didn't go to the game in person.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - HarbaughBuiltStanfordFB - 09-23-2017

The scheme is not QB friendly, playcalls are too obvious. We should be calling tons of playing action fake from I-formation every single game (like in Harbaugh's era) and yet we barely see them

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - HarbaughBuiltStanfordFB - 09-23-2017

I am kinda glad Rosen did not come here. Shaw and company would've made him look silly and lost.

And that's the Rosen we all knew would appear

Everybody knew this Stanford passing offense is garbage. Now this garbage passing offensive is without its starting QB, every single DC in the country knows what to do

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - ADPATERSON - 09-23-2017

They just called same route for Andrews, who got behind Reid.
How csn that happen?  UGGH !  6 to 13.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - cardcrimson - 09-23-2017

Man, those guys were wide open. . . .

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - ADPATERSON - 09-23-2017

Who for QB now?
I think Shaw has to bet Costello will get into gear.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - norcard - 09-23-2017

I don't know why Costello isn't in there gaining experience.  Him sucking is still better than burns getting burned.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - cardcrimson - 09-23-2017

Third down, and you run a pattern short of the first down. Sad.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - VFRing98 - 09-23-2017

So Burns plays when we're deep in our side of the field?

What's next, the quick kick on 3rd down?

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - HarbaughBuiltStanfordFB - 09-23-2017

David Shaw has somehow managed to make this one of the worst PAC 12 teams. I am going to say he should be in the hot seat.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - martyup - 09-23-2017

Pressure!!!

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - cardcrimson - 09-23-2017

Great tackling.

This is terrible.  :o

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - lex24 - 09-23-2017

The rout is on

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - jacketree - 09-23-2017

Think they could take the Beavs.  Yeah, probably.
