Yes!  Stopped them on their first drive of the second half.  8)

And ASU returned the favor.  With this defense, we can't afford non-scoring possessions.  :(

No!  Stopped us on our first drive of the second half.  ???

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - JohnR34231 - 09-30-2017

We get a stop to open up the 2nd half and then we go 3 and out. Oh well.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - martyup - 09-30-2017

And, another 3 and out for ASU.  I'm liking this defense much better so far this half.  Maybe Holder is making an impact.  Let's go offense.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - shinsengumi - 09-30-2017

Our punt return unit could use some shoring up as well. Tyler never looked comfortable from Day 1, and not sure if Irwin has the shake-and-bake to make the first tackler miss. I guess the coaching staff doesn't trust BLove's hands?

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - cardcrimson - 09-30-2017

Great play calling in the first half. Almost a great play to start the second. Hope it keeps going.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - CompSci87 - 09-30-2017

Then we stop them again. I am seeing base D instead of nickel.
