So Costello gets hit in the head, goes out for one play, no exam, and goes right back in. Nicely done!
He was forced to sit out a play by the refs for his injury.

Just what we needed, a shanked punt. This is painful.

Holder has been victimized a lot today.

If Pitt could score from within the 10 yard line, this would be a 21-7 game.

Ducks and Spartans 0-0 with 2:31 left in the first half.

Defense is playing well enough to win this game. Unfortunately, the offense isn't.

If you are going to make comments like that at least know the facts. The concussion issue is not in the coaches hands. He’s not even involved in the process.

Yeah, that’s my point. A head injury should get an exam by someone. Instead they purposely ignore it and send him back in.

Can we run some quick pass plays, please?

Soon going to TCM for a bunch of William Powell movies.

Offense is going to do nothing with this offensive line play. Costello will be lucky to survive the game.

Costello tried to stay in the game. By definition, a player has to come out for at least a play if there is an injury stoppage (though I'd have thought that would have been Hall). In any case, it was clear that Costello wasn't actually hurt in the play, though you could make a case that he should have undergone a quick eval to make sure that he really wasn't hurt (and "toughing it out").

It’s not just the score... it’s the way they are making us look like a high school team. Physically beating on us.

Not quick enough. They have tried some quick throws. Their offensive line is getting freaking smoked. And the fact of the matter is when you’re getting beat that badly at the point of attack there’s not a damn thing you can do.

Given that Henry Hattis is now our right tackle, I don't think we'll be able to muster much from here on out. Gotta hope for a pick six or some other turnover.
Not sure why Pitt is passing, even on second and ten, and especially on third and five.

No, it wasn’t “clear that he wasn’t actually hurt”. How can you say that? His head got ping ponged between 2 defenders, and he couldn’t get up right away. In the NFL, that kind of hit sends the guy to the sideline for an exam, regardless of what the player thinks or says.

Does this game make it more or less likely that Costell returns?

Why doesn't Costello keep the ball on a few of the run plays? He looks to have lots of room in front of him.
