TD here while running down the clock to less than 20 seconds. Go into the half trailing 19-14, get the ball first in the second half for the chance to take the lead.
Ok...left them plenty of time to drive. Defense will need to stop them.

I don't think Costello makes the throws Mills has made on this drive.
Mills should be the starter the rest of the season. Probably won't happen, but 100% should happen.

The second one was an incredible throw. He stuck it in a nonexistent window 40 yards downfield.

Play before the TD, Mills made one read to the short side of the field (one receiver) and bailed. He had the out route open on the left side.

True, some of those thread the needle plays would be very bad for Mills if the DBs were a bit more aware or saw the ball sooner. Not much separation.

Yeah Mills is being bailed out with bad WSU DB play. Good throws, poor decisions, good results.
Is that WSU's timeout? They want to score in 37 sec, but our defense needs the rest too.
