Really poor shot selection on offense for the last 4-5 possessions lets Indiana back into the game at the half.

Two late three pointers brought them to 37-34. Agree it’s a bit frustrating that they would end the half this close, because we have been playing well.

- Pretty nice half, but we lost our big lead with both Hulls on the bench.
- Happy to see the ball going through Cam, but I think 17 shots is too much. That said, they were mostly good shots. 11 boards - wow.
- Frantastic first half from Belibi. Doesn't get much better than that!
- Haley not herself. Does anyone know the injury? The camera showed her checking her foot, so maybe it's an ankle injury and maybe it was the tape job or something.
- Pretty good minutes from Hamilton
Berger and Holmes are good. Cardano is killing us, but we're leaving her wide open. I don't think they can stop us, but we need to stop them. The Hulls will be fresh, so I like our chances there.

I'm surprised that the promoter of this event didn't get a TV deal for these games. Is women's basketball that low in value to the networks?

5 quick observations:
1. Belibi had a layup drill in 1H . . . she should stick to shots within 5 feet. That fadeaway was a terrible shot;
2. Haley has nothing. She should not have played as much as she did, imo. (Tara definitely uses different criteria for subs . . . it would be tough to be on the wrong side of her objective-meter, for whatever reasons);
3. The failure to get the D board on the missed FT opened the floodgates, so to speak, for IU's late charge;
4. Team is not making great decisions - too many unforced TOs, and why didn't Wilson hold for the last shot? (Could have wound clock down to 2 seconds). Fortunately, IU missed on their end; and
5. I also think Stanford is the better team, but IU was getting a lot of decent looks in 1H and just missing. Outside of Jump's 2 jumpers, it seems like our only buckets were layups or right at the rim (though the NW transfer trey was a nice surprise).
P.S. Not sure the last time I've seen a women's hoopster airball a FT . . .

the posts stopped driving to the basket at the end of the half and took outside shots. hope they go back to drives. if they double, we are passing well; if they don't double, fran and cam score easily.

Brink with only 1 foul in 16 minutes and 10 points. That is excellent. She's up against a good defender. Her shot selection has been a little iffy though.

What was Jones shooting that 3 for late in the half??? Just because the other team made 2 threes?

Yes, that 0-7 run we gave up at the end of the first half was largely the result of poor decisions on our part. Frustrating. Well, we need to go out and win the second half, hopefully by more than we won the first half.

We went on a run with Holmes out of the game. We carved her backups. She has 2 fouls - getting her 3rd/4th would really hurt them.

They played better than us in the last part of the 3rd Quarter. We're bigger but they're scrambling better.
Refs are somewhat inconsistent. Call us for a reach-around, but not them.

We've got a 3 point lead after 3 quarters. We need to take advantage of our depth in the 4th and run them ragged. Their starters have played almost the entire game. They can't stop our inside game, so we should keep dumping it down inside. GO CARD!
