Yeah, those are the two who dominate the list.  Who are the other two?

Jerry Lucas is correct (40 rebounds on February 29, 1964).

Rodman is not (nor are Kareem, Unseld, or Malone).

Still missing one, who played for the San Francisco Warriors.

Bing, bing, bing!  Nate Thurmond for the Warriors had 42 on November 9, 1965.

Sorry, I missed that Phogge had gotten it earlier in the thread.

See the bolded.  Dennis Rodman's last season was 2000.  Karl Malone kept on until 2004, but his best days were in the 90s (Moses Malone retired in 1995).  Shaq kept playing until 2011, but the most rebounds he ever recorded was 28.  David Robinson played until 2003, but never had more than 24 boards.

Wow I’m getting old BC. Seems like just yesterday

RE: Sports Trivia 2023 - Phogge - 01-11-2023

I stopped watching the NBA when Russell retired from playing. But I've heard of some names since 2000. How about the big Greek kid? Somebody named Gasol? Novitski?

RE: Sports Trivia 2023 - BobK - 01-11-2023

Ok Kevin Love. Maybe

Yup, Kevin Love (31) on 11/12/2010.  Most since Charles Barkley had 36 in 1996.

No on Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pau Gasol (or his brother Marc), or Dirk Nowitzki.

Dwight Howard ?

RE: Sports Trivia 2023 - Phogge - 01-11-2023

How about the guy who swats things at the grocery store. I think it's Motumbo or Motombo.

Name all the Hall of Famers in the following professional sports who attended USF (and Crimson, not South Florida).

MLB
NFL
NBA
Pro Soccor

So Lee Roy Selmon doesn't count (granted he didn't attend, but was their AD)

Bill Russell is the easy one.

Great knowledge on Johnny Mathis. Apparently, at 5' 7", he made the Olympic team, but gave up on Melbourne for his singing career. . . .Methinks he could have still accomplished both.

How about Suzanne Somers? Isn't she in a HOF somewhere?
