Why did we suddenly change to the defensive scheme to rush only three? The defense was doing fine before we decided to give Hundley all this time.

Dunno bout that Gauss....both his knee and ankle took some stress on that play, at worst it's an ACL/MCL, at best it's an ankle sprain. My guess is MCL sprain, couple weeks.
Also, fantastic defensive series, helped by some UCLA dumbassery. Like that we had Richards up close to stop that screen.

Would imagine that 4th and 3 we have a 50-50 shot....do we have that chance of making a 46 yard field goal with our backup kicker?
Obviously Shaw knows Ukropina's capabilities more than we do, but not a fan of that decision.
