OL can't at all handle ND's blitzing. So much for any perceived progress on that front. Need to have some designed Hogan runs out of the shotgun -- nearly every shotgun run we've called has had no option possibilities involved.

Receivers are dropping balls on both sides, fumbles, bad snaps--it is cold, wet, and slick and the weather is going to stay bad. We really need to stop Notre Dame to start the 3rd quarter and then we need to start running the ball more consistently. This is one game where the Shaw conservative philosophy should be an asset. But only if we can start executing the running game somewhat better than we have--and hang on to the ball.

113 yards of offense? Ooof.
I'd like to see us come out and keep Hogan moving on rollouts, and try some short play action screens or intermediate throws. Nothing deep unless we have the wind at our back.

Again, I thought Skov made an excellent play in the first half. Can we get him the ball more please? Our 200 pound running backs seem slow to the line.

Trojan seems to be our most reliable receiver.
And Montgomery drops another one... Jesus. This is like the two losses in 2012 with him.

The first two drops were understandable. But that was just horrible. Our offense is failing all around. Bad calls, bad execution.

We are going to be playing into the wind in the fourth quarter. Coupled with hogan's trouble today, we have an uphill climb in the fourth quarter.
