How many AP yards?

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Loved watching the kicker get blocked there. One of the few football moments that makes me laugh out loud.

Re: Big Game Thread - amartinsu13 - 11-21-2015

282 All Purpose Yards, 85 on ground, 49 yard run for TD, 98 yard KO return for TD

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

That was a mildly important holding.  Weenies being weenies.

I'm glad they didn't call a hold or something on that

Re: Big Game Thread - SUBuddha - 11-21-2015

I am making too much noise. My wife just left the room to watch magic mike 2

"That's the third mini-meltdown for Sorry Yikes in this half"

Life isn't fair, Sorry.  I swear to God it isn't....

Re: Big Game Thread - jacketree - 11-21-2015

Fleming's SD mini-meltdown meter: 3

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

11 point swing there; stopping Cal on third and short close to the goal, and then the KOR for a TD.  Given that Cal gets the ball to start the second half, 21-6 is a lot better than 14-10.

H/t to Hank gets for retweeting that.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

At the half...

TOP: Cal 16:03; Stanford 13:57
1st downs: Cal 9; Stanford 8
Total yardage: Cal 205; Stanford 176

Points: Stanford 21; Cal 6

The difference is McCaffrey (148 yards on returns) and Penalties: Stanford 1-15; Cal 5-43.  Weenies being weenies.

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Well, the difference is also our defense playing bend not break as well. We've finished drives, and prevented big plays by kal.

Like to see less bending, but I think the total yardage stat isn't exactly indicative of the way this game is going.

Re: Big Game Thread - yvonne - 11-21-2015

Barack Obama, Cory Booker, and Steve Jobs.

What other college does commercials like that?

Re: Big Game Thread - JohnR34231 - 11-21-2015

Yeah, the way Kal is moving the ball, I hope CMac has a couple more big plays in him.

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Stanford ad- think it's in the top quarter of college ads. Not as good as the cat/laser pointer ad, but decent. Haven't heard Obama praising a school in any other ad...

Re: Big Game Thread - DC - 11-21-2015

Why are our db giving so much cushion?

Yeah, we've got to stop them on this coming drive. If it weren't for McCaffrey, we'd be losing this game.
