Our universities must be doing something right, if international students are willing to pay exorbitant tuition en masse to attend them.

We wouldn't have a medium to talk on if it weren't for an Oxford-educated Englishman researching at a Swiss research center. My point is beyond US vs. commonwealth. There's a big world out there, and outside the US, they also educate and do research. BTW, I posted two separate listings, and neither of them list UC Berkeley as the top public university in the world.
POC, nobody's saying that US universities are bad  not by any stretch but to claim that a university or anything else is the best in the world simply because it's the best in the US is misguided.

Wow, that'd be a really interesting and (I think) annoying hire for Stanford. practicing against the triple option would be hell, and pity our poor linemen. Niumatolo has an extremely good record on the offensive side.
On the other hand it'd certainly lead to a brobdingnagian exodus. If you're, say, Demetris Robertson do you want to hang around for a triple option attack? Doubt it.

Also, didn't BYU want to hire him and he didn't leave? Why would Cal be more appealing?

If he isn't going to follow his LDS faith to Provo, I have a hard time believing he would go to Berkeley. But if he does, Mrs. JT can move her penchant for screaming at Coach Nemo for burning early time outs to her home team, and I'm making sure we get season tickets after several years off. Love the TO!

Forgot to mention that his son is playing for BYU and he still didn't go. His daughter said that Annapolis was their life, so there's that; but no I really don't know.

Wilcox is kal's HC. USC's fans hated Wilcox when he was their DC--great players, lousy defense.
I actually thought hiring Navy's HC would have been a good choice.
