Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - Mick - 09-30-2017

Deep ball went between Irwin's hands.  Not great accuracy on the deep ball from Costello.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - rudruff - 09-30-2017

I didn't think we had a fake punt in the playbook.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-30-2017

KJ did not lead Irwin enough in the sideline pass

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - ADPATERSON - 09-30-2017

But ZERO points off great fake punt execution.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - washingtonismoney - 09-30-2017

Absence of Arcega-Whiteside has been hurting the passing offense.

You should use the Toast guy from the UCLA game. :)
But given how our defense has played this year, I'd say it's a bit early to say ASU is toast.

Yea, I was just going to say that. I was hoping we could utilize Colby Parkinson in a similar role.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - ADPATERSON - 09-30-2017

REID is MVP on Defense today with 2 picks and great shut down tackles on 3rd downs.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-30-2017

Nice to see Swann and Williams in there

Is Dylan Jackson injured? Or does this indicate a change in the depth chart.

Jackson was in on that 3rd down stop.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - rudruff - 09-30-2017

I've seen Jackson in there. Maybe trying to steal some rest for the starters that play.

Re: Stanford-ASU Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-30-2017

I think just a rotation.

And weddington on punt return

Our punt return unit could use some shoring up as well. Tyler never looked comfortable from Day 1, and not sure if Irwin has the shake-and-bake to make the first tackler miss. I guess the coaching staff doesn't trust BLove's hands?
Why not Scarlett?

Looks like it's Wedington with the next shot at punt returns
