Poor decisions?  How? Because he’s throwing to receivers that are covered – the receivers are always covered. What are you supposed to do eat the ball.

Wth we get QB pressure but can't tackle, and WSU converts a passing play.

Yeah Mills is being bailed out with bad WSU DB play.  Good throws, poor decisions, good results.

Is that WSU's timeout?  They want to score in 37 sec, but our defense needs the rest too.

ALMOST INT.  Ugh.

Stuart Head has to make that INT.  Hit him in the facemask.

I'd like to see Mills take a shot deep before the end of the half. We'll see.

2 min drill.  19 sec to score.

Call a TO.  God they have two left what are they waiting for. They’re going to now lose the play because of that.

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - fullmetal - 11-16-2019

Could have been def PI vs. Wilson but oh well.

PATHETIC. How do you NOT call a timeout after the Parkinson catch? Oh, I know...Shaw is CLUELESS.

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - fullmetal - 11-16-2019

Bad pass pro means Mills dumped the ball to Peat on a screen (designed?) going nowhere.  Down 8 at the half.

RE: lex24 - needle - 11-16-2019

Criminal negligence by Shaw on the clock management. Difference between winning and losing, frankly.

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - Spiny_Norman - 11-16-2019

Wow, WSU ran 51 plays in the 1st half. Stanford only 27 plays.

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - PVTree - 11-16-2019

Clock stopped with 19 seconds...don't take a TO...snap the ball with 9 seconds...play ends  with 1 second left...we take a TO to the locker room. Poor time management.

lex24 - lex24 - 11-16-2019

Yep.  Lost 2 plays as a result.

Either call a timeout there or spike the ball, how on earth they can burn almost 10 seconds lining up is beyond me...

Nah, “we didn’t execute.” It will be interesting to see how he answers that one.

This, so many times this. If you're not going to try for anything, fine. But we did! We got down there and could have done something with another play or two! There is literally no reason at all not to use it.

Well, we're still in it. The way the game started out you wondered a bit.

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - fullmetal - 11-16-2019

I get that Shaw expects his guys to be mature and capable, but they're still just college players.  Help your kids out, buddy.  They're still young. (Okay Mills, YOU gotta call the timeouts now since your coach isn't going to step up.)

Just awful.  There is no reasonable explanation for this.  Give up a chance at a FG in a 8 point game for nothing, unbelievable...

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - Goose - 11-16-2019

For sure the idea we could control the game by running the ball isn't getting tried. I do understand that having a bad defense is a problem, and being behind is a problem, but I submit that getting into a track meet with WSU won't end well for us. We get the ball after halftime. We need to figure a way to keep their offense of the field, or we are toast. Their big advantage in number of plays run will take it's toll. Now, if we can't run the ball, we ARE doomed, but we should at least try it. So far we have like six rushing plays.

Iowa- Minn. good game brewing. Floyd of Rosedale at stake......

RE: Washington State Football Game Thread - fullmetal - 11-16-2019

Our rushing plays haven't been all that successful iirc.  Go with what works.
