McKee is slow as molasses, but damn, he juked the whole stadium.

It was good! Green chili cheeseburger. I haven't turned the game on as yet, so don't blame me for UCLA scoring.

Boo birds for the decision to kick the Fg down a TD, but there is plenty of time on the clock.

Karty nails it.

I'm not sure why we are still running the ball.  We can pass on these guys all day long.

RE: UCLA live thread - BostonCard - 09-25-2021

UCLA realized they can run at us with abandon.

RE: UCLA live thread - martyup - 09-25-2021

At least we made it respectable.  We have some very good receivers.

RE: UCLA live thread - BostonCard - 09-25-2021

Gilman has had a pretty good game.

Why not call the time out?

RE: UCLA live thread - winflop - 09-25-2021

WHY IN THE WORLD DID SHAW NOT USE HIS LAST TO THERE? He let UCLA burn a full play clock instead. Unreal

RE: UCLA live thread - BigJohn043 - 09-25-2021

Sorta makes you wonder what if we just didn't do all of those east west runs.....

RE: UCLA live thread - ADPinWDC - 09-25-2021

DTR gets the Jake Haener Purple Heart award on that last TD pass.
Bruins go up 35 to 24 with under 2min to play.

RE: UCLA live thread - martyup - 09-25-2021

Boy, DTR heals fast.  After the game he was slapping fives with his right arm with no indications of pain.  I guess LA is home to many actors. I wonder if he saw all of the attention that Fresno QB got after last week's game and wanted some of his own.

Chip Kelly was very gracious in the post game on-field interview.  He seems like a good guy.

Both lines got smoked. Got to recruit multiple DL’s EVERY YEAR. Game wasn’t as close as the score.

RE: UCLA live thread - winflop - 09-25-2021

Game was lost in the trenches. UCLA ran almost at will between the tackles and we couldn’t at all

Yardage 516 to 202.  How we managed to keep it to a 2-score game is beyond me.

Can’t win when you get destroyed at LOS on both sides of ball.  Doesn’t help when your coach refuses to take risks,

RE: UCLA live thread - BostonCard - 09-25-2021

Ok, the ESPN starts were wrong, but we still got well outclassed in terms of yardage, 465 to 359.  This was a game that was not really as close as the score suggested, and it was incredible that we were tied into the fourth quarter.

Stanford still controls its own destiny (the P12 North and P12 championship) at least until next week.

Could Shaw be rolling out new schemes next week?

Surely you jest.

I've grown to love the wildcat. It is so Shaw! I mean it's so macho and impressive. Not more cowbell! More wildcat!
