That was pretty. I think the action in the backfield slowed the D just enough to get Tremayne past the D. That’s why we need occasional runs, even if they suck, as it does soften the D.

If you get the 2Pt, a TD and XP get you a win. If you fail, you can always try for the 2 pt conversion to tie it the next time.

I’m at the game - crowd at kick-off about as I expected. LOTS of folks left at the half including most of the student section.
As always the “shady side” (if you can call it that for an 8pm start) behind the cameras has more people than the sunny side in front.

One question for you guys-Smith is in street clothes right in front of me and moving easily. Did we ever hear what happened there? He’s wear Stanford gear and fully engaged in the game, cheering as we stopped the 2 pt conversion.
