Yvonne, thank you for allowing me to be a visitor here. I have enjoyed the friendly banter with Stanford fans both here and on our board. It has been a pleasure and I hope I have enough credibility here that you can know I would say this regardless of the outcome of the game.Â
I'm afraid college athletics is moving past the age of friendly conversation. Your fanbase has been refreshing. They have impressed me as being well-informed and enthusiastic about their team without trying to sling too much what can only be described as shit.
This band thread will blow over with the quick-to-be-offended crowd on our board soon enough. Us long-term fans will still be there. I hope you and others here can find the time to drop in and say hi every once in a while.

With Texas back with a B- quarterback next year, I think you guys will be holding court in San Antonio during bowl season. That's okay with me. I blew my travel budget this week.

After the OT Blackmon catch, did anyone see an overexuberant OKState player run onto the field and just nail a Stanford player in the back? It looked like a cheap shot to me.

I'm a little suspicious of the lack of holding calls against this Stanford defense. Only one sack in how many passing plays? (Forty-something.) But...the officiating didn't seem to be a brobdingnagian factor at the time.

The only really egregious blown call I can remember was the missed PI/defensive holding call when Whalen was yanked back by his jersey on a crossing route that should've resulted in a first down in the first half.
