Implied gambling is perfectly legal.  If I had written that we made a bet or that I would win a beer, that would be gambling.  I merely said I would make you buy me a beer.  That may involve felony threats, extortion, and assault, but would not put me in jail for gambling.  By the way, you still owe me the beer I won from our bet last year.

Thanks 82Card and Martyup. I attribute my victory to pure beginners luck  :)  not any sort of armchair analyst ... just a crazy fan guided by blind homer ism  ;D

I do feel that I do not deserve to win over all those other fans who predicted a shutout (martyup included)... should not have mistrusted our defense to think that they would give up 3 points!

Just 14 more games to go... one at a time :)
