He said the same something similar about how Rosen was the first good quarterback we'd faced. What do you call Cody Kessler? I bet if I looked, I could find Pollack somewhere advocating him for Voldemort.

Francis Owusu should get an honorary black belt in aikido for that TD catch.  Used the defender's presence against him.

And naturally I trust the engine of the Silicon Valley social media empire will propel McCaffrey to New York.  The level of football we have been playing from the U-S-C game on has been insane.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - jacketree - 10-15-2015

Well I've watched UCLA come back from 28 down against Stanford before and Stanford is starting to get sloppy, so I'm OK trying to get 450 for CMac.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2015

WIM.... Me too.  The game would be a lot closer if UCLA didn't shoot itself in the foot.  But if the offensive line and offense can keep going as we have, then the defense is "good enough"

Apparently UCLA has cut the lead in half. We need to put McCaffrey back in the game.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - needle - 10-15-2015

Do we all agree Rosen is pretty good?

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - jacketree - 10-15-2015

And maybe there will be more than 10 people still here at the end of the game.

He will be.  Had some great plays, and some bad ones, but he will be good.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - jacketree - 10-15-2015

Um, there is enough time left for Rosen to do this. A little too sleepwalky for me. UCLA's 1s against Stanford's 2s?

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2015

David Shaw is undefeated against 6 pac-12 teams, I wonder which they are...

UCLA, Cal, WSU, Colorado, Arizona, and OSU.. Right?

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - needle - 10-15-2015

I'd guess first-team D comes back onto the field after the Chryst-led three-and-out.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - dabigv13 - 10-15-2015

or not! Nate LOHN!!!

Nope, that was Lohn and Rotto with the sack.

Love it.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2015

Another friggin timeout wasted.

Will say, we've gotten much better with this.

Yeah, but in pads he still barely has normal shoulders for an 18-year-old. (Meow.)

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - washingtonismoney - 10-15-2015

Wonder if that's attributable to Chryst's inexperience -- he cut it close on another play that series.

Re: Stanford-UCLA game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2015

Had to laugh at the UCLA band playing their song as a first down gets called back for an offensive holding.

Wow, the announcers are actively rooting for the clock.
