Reminiscent of the Oregon game.
I hope our offense can keep scoring, because they are going to need to.

So this is what a sellout looks like. I have end zone GA tickets and struggled to find a seat. Took a bathroom break in the second quarter, and there was a line in the men's room and concessions. There are fans in the standing room area under the arches. And it's loud in here (sadly also when the Domers are making noise). But what a great feeling to be in a packed stadium! Now just need to close the game out!
Big turnover at the end of the half and good stands once the Domers got to our 10 yard line but otherwise not much of a defensive effort. On offense, when we are moving the ball we do so effectively. But a couple of stalled drives have hurt us. Need more consistency since I'm not convinced we can stop them.
Go Stanford!
BC
PS other downside is the wifi is slow as molasses as 50k people try to access it.

The offense needs to keep scoring and the defense needs to step it up and make big plays.
ND has no problem moving the ball. Several more ND turnovers would be helpful.

As always, if we're going to play so far off the receivers we should at least do something besides a vanilla deep cover 2 in the back. Love to see some zone blitzes with our ends coming into the flats or middle zones, or even a corner blitz here and there. Anything to change the look and try and get a turnover.

Really an up and down (emotionally) first half!

Is anyone else wondering how this D will hold up against USC? Are our starting CB's likely to be out again next week?

4 yards on 1st is a relative victory...
Re: Stanford ND Game thread -

The "bend don't break" defense game plan makes me nervous but I understand the why that's the game plan. Our secondary is quite inexperience.Â

God that was a prayer. ugh.

They made that throw, but I liked our look on D. Meeks almost got to that by jumping that route.

They're driving on us here, but I think we're playing better on D. We've mixed some things up, and they've made some lucky plays.

Worst Stanford defense since ???

That why several of us were rooting for UCLA. USC's air game is dangerous especially with our secondary. Hopefully Harris and Holder will be back then. But even with their return, it's still a weak secondary.

Nice stop, again. Take away the kickoff return and the long bomb TD and we're crushing them. >:(
