Awful game management there. Absolutely no justification for taking three timeouts into the locker room.
My guess is that with the way the offense has been playing Shaw thought we just needed to go in the locker room and regroup.

That's actually a fair point. hard to know the sense of the sideline from where I'm sitting (comfortably in a bar stool at the Buck/Cardinal watch party...)

They need to run more designed runs with Burns so they can have him zone read. And they also need to roll him out. I didn't think Tucker could be trusted at LT.

I feel like the defense is playing well so far. UCLA will try to pick on Alexander. I think Rosen is good for a pick, however.
The offense looks bad. Not awful, but bad penalties, UCLA is disrupting the passing attack with pressure (half of that is on Burns holding on to the ball too long). I would like to see fewer formations and a little bit of tempo. UCLA defense is not all-world.

CMAC should cheat up on the kickoffs. If he could catch one of those on the run . . .

I hope he doesn't have another chance.

Well, he's at RT and Hall has been beat twice (at least), so...you got your wish I guess?

Exactly. Why would you want CMac to return another kickoff? Let's go for a 2nd half shutout.

Yes, 1 series (3rd one, I think).
RT, Hall is at LT.
Not sure, have to see where he lines up, but I think he's been out for most series'.

I have to agree with TP - -if Burns can't get it done in 2-3 series, I'd go with Cryst. He can't do any worse

Offensive takedown on the edge?
