That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever seen.

For those who can't stand the pain any longer, #1 Stanford v. #6 UCLA women's soccer starts in 5' on the Pac-12 Network. I'll start by streaming it, and it may pull me completely away from the FB.

Just so you all know...Oregon State has only beaten a ranked Stanford team once in history...in 1956.
This is turning into epic badness.
I really, really hope Shaw has something up his sleeve. Our running backs, OL and QB look just terrible, really embarrassingly bad.

I see Scarlett and Speights running with tunnel vision. They just don't seem to see the holes as they develop. I thought Scarlett was better than he has been playing tonight.

The team is pressing. Chryst is aiming the ball instead of throwing it. The running backs are not being patient. They just need to realize that even without Love, they are the superior team and play like it.

We've effectively had two turnovers inside the Beavs 30 yard line (6 yd punt, and fumble) - and still have only 6 points in the first half.
Wow, talk about offensive futility. >:(

It seems the RBs have been told to run in the middle and bounce nothing outside, because on several of those runs it sure looked like they could have gone outside for sizable gains.
But if Shaw doesn't bench Chryst, Stanford will lose this game.

Well, Washington only put up 7 in the first half in Corvallis, and then 35 in the second.
So hope springs eternal.

I go back to some earlier comments I made a while back. Costello "knows" he can complete the pass. A lot of the time Chryst hesitates and then stares the receiver down. I think the confidence issue also invites delay game penalties too, no decisiveness. I think the early near interceptions really put even doubt in Chryst's head. So much of a quarterbacks game is mental.

I hope Shaw gave this version of a halftime speech in the locker room.

Would it qualify as a H moment to put pads on, get a touchdown on one good ankle and then take the pads off?

Holder with a fantastic close and tackle on third down, ruined by Edwards' silly unsportsmanlike penalty.

Only because you're in the tank for Shaw and furthermore you have trouble reading.

Well, we're going to see what this team is made of!

Feels like watching the season implode in slow motion.
Do like Flemings logic vis a vis Love. Look how terrible they are without him - he must be that good.

Holder's knee bent sideways. This is a nightmare.

I guess we decided to implode on both sides of the ball. What a stupid penalty on Edwards, and it looks like it ended Holders's season.

Ugh all around! Deserve to lose this game badly.
