Didn't we do that against the weenies 2 years ago? After a pick in the middle of the 4th quarter, I recall we ran the ball for the last 8 minutes or so to bleed the clock and not give the ball back.
My favorite lines from
the reddit thread discussing the game:
"Shaw is going to watch this tape whenever he needs to sleep well."
"'Sleep well' haha, is that what the kids are calling it these days?"

The spoils of a well-earned win. Three Stanford players earn P12 Player of the Week honors.
Paulson Adebo - defensive player of the week
Drew Dalman - OL of the week
Simi Fehoko - freshman of the week

I get that Luton had a very good game vs UCLA, but.....Scarlett was robbed!!

Kyu Blue Kelly and Jake Hornibrook weren't terrible either and arguably should have been co-frosh of the week with Fehoko.

After missing a tackle and getting burned badly at least twice in the early going, that impostor who had been wearing Adebo's #11 jersey earlier this season suddenly vanished, and the real Adebo showed up in the second half, making several monster plays. Great to see!

I wonder if the award really should have been given cumulatively to the defense?

I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm replaying the UW game yet again. i hadn't noticed before and don't recall it being mentioned here, but Mills went into the medical tent right after Scarlett's touchdown w/ 6:00 left in the third quarter. West started warming up at that point, but when Mills came out, he took a few throws and went back into the game for the entire next possession. But when Kelly makes the interception w/ a little under 11 minutes left in the game, West takes over. In sum, I think I think they were just being cautious. Mills probably noticed something, but the fact that they left him in for a while suggests that he will be available for UCLA.
