What a game! Evans is quite a player, and Louisville's defense almost cooked us. Amazing comeback!!

She was standing, cheering, and jumping on the sideline. Had tape on her hamstring. She did not look badly hurt the way she was celebrating.

We outscored them 30-13 in the 4th. We scored more in the 4th than we did in the entire first half. Trust Tara.

Prechtel 6/6 with 16 points was the main reason this game turned around. Williams got her groove back, and Lexie kept us in the game--she was the only player who was consistent across all 4 quarters.

What an unbelievable turnaround. We outscored them 52-25 second half, which was about as good a half we could play. In the end, it wasn't even that close a game (15 point final margin). It is hard to understate what an abrupt turnaround this was. It took us 4 and a half minutes to go from a 14 point deficit to a 1 point lead, and then five minutes into the fourth quarter to go from a 2 point deficit to a 12 point lead.

Shockingly after how poorly we started, we wound up shooting 44% overall and 41% from 3.
Jones wound up with a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds); Hull was one rebound away from a double double (21 points, 9 rebounds), and went to the line 9 times. Prechtel was a FT miss away from a perfect line (6/6, 3/3 from 3 and 1/2 from the line for 16 points, plus 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks) in about 20 minutes of work. Kiana was obviously off early, but after starting 1/12, she finished 5 for her last 8, and had 5 assists and 4 steals, and wound up shooting 40% (2/5) from 3. Brink had four blocks (I swear I saw her get her fifth), and at one point was our only offense. Really hope she's better by the final.

Yes, had given up but came back to see the Kiana interview. Kept her there for 15 minutes waiting for the interview, apparently. Kind of cute she swore, they bleeped it, and she apologized over and over, sheepishly.

What a game. From worst first half to best second? I think be got the benefit of the calls tonight which was nice. Prechtel's best game ever given the importance. Good for her.

During the halftime break, how many of you were making peace with this being the last game for our team? I certainly was. I promised myself that I wouldn't get too upset and decided to focus on the great future ahead for Stanford womens' basketball. I was ready for it to be all over tonight. I should have trusted Tara and this team more.
