Now that the final four is UCLA, UConn, Texas, and South Carolina, I’m rooting for the sweet meteor of death (though failing that, South Carolina).

Of course, U$C wouldn't have been a #1 seed if it been known Juju was going to get hurt. Since Kiki bailed on Stanford I'm not going to shed any tears for her.
I guess I'm favoring Texas by default. UCLA has too many players whom I think should be playing for Stanford and Yukon and South Carolina win too much (although Geno hasn't won it all in some time).

Well Kiki did graduate. No clue plus doubt it that grad school was an option

Well, I remember a thread that said we had it all set up for Kiki to stay and even agreed to match U$C's NIL offer. Then the Condoms upped the ante and we dropped out of the bidding.
Was that correct? Who knows?

I know lifetime did offer but at that time no where close to $750K. No where close. And as to set up to stay never heard that one

Would we be making NIL offers if we couldn't find a way for her to stay?
Anyway Bob, you would know this stuff better than I.

With Lifetime Cardinal wanting to fundraise 1.5 million for the women’s team for next year. Our top players this next year should be compensated quite well. I think that was important in retaining Nunu and Chloe while also bringing in a top recruiting class.
If the budget was 1.5million for this past year. Maybe Stanford could have matched Irifafen’s USC offer. So much speculation though and never know how much truth there is behind what’s rumored.

Hmmm ... We were a finalist for her. Saw her visit Maples with Shay and another recruit a year and a half ago. Probably a no go because of no room at the INN.
I would prefer Miles over KK since recruiting seems to be going well, and we need help for next year. We may be back to elite in 2 years if the recruits live up to rankings.

Hope all goes well for her, she is Ukrainian and IIRC her dad is in Ukrainian fighting Putin.
That's got to be rough. Have been mentoring a younger Ukrainian architect (about 35 years old) who was wounded about 10 years ago fighting in Eastern Ukraine, lost his leg. Smart, talented, so much wants to go back and fight, very grateful for all the support for Ukraine that has come from the USA and others.
