Statcast started to record the speed of inside-the-park home runs in 2015. The fastest recorded in that time was Byron Buxton of the Twins at 13.85 seconds in 2017.

What was the slowest time for an inside-the-park home run? And yes, the Giants were involved...

Patrick Bailey?

Patrick Bailey is correct, at 16.59 seconds. Prior to the Statcast era, Jhonny Peralta of the Indians ran out an inside the park home run in 16.74 seconds in July 2010. There were five conventional home run trots that year that were faster than Peralta's ITPHRT.

Only one pitcher since the 1950s has lost 20 games two years in a row. Who?

Didn't see a clock on this one, but it claims Conor Gillaspie has the slowest inside the park home run. Tough to argue, especially as he fell on his face rounding third:

Gillaspie is the new winner at 17.41 for his September 27, 2011 fall-on-your-face ITPHRT against the Rockies. The average home run trot in 2010 was 22.02 seconds.

Speaking of inside-the-park home runs, who has the modern era career record for most inside-the-park homers?
Also, two players hit an ITPHR on their first major league at-bats.  One was a Giant.  Who were they?
