Once too often to the well. Fail

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

We ought to get some TE drags out of that formation. If we run it all the time, the D will keep selling out to stop it...

Re: Big Game Thread - DC - 11-21-2015

Ok, 21-12 coming up.

Sounds like it was a problem with execution with our pulling guard (Caspers).  We should have gone for it on fourth down.

That formation is good for one yard max.

Big series coming up.

Except for all of the 8 and 9 yard rushes McCaffrey has in that formation?

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

That was a nice way to blitz him. Only bring four and shuffle back a defender from the line to cover the short zone.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Well we finally hit home with a sack.  But I don't like Shittu coming out.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Goff had forever back there.

Re: Big Game Thread - jacketree - 11-21-2015

Well this is getting old. They will eventually cross the goal line.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Thankfully they have to do it twice.

Re: Big Game Thread - jacketree - 11-21-2015

McCaffrey almost never runs out of that formation

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Wow, I've never seen lobbying from a coach work to draw a penalty.

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Think our sideline earned us that penalty. Nice.

Re: Big Game Thread - yvonne - 11-21-2015

Can we stop anyone?

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Come on. Atrocious defending.

Re: Big Game Thread - Mick - 11-21-2015

I think Hogan will have a better NFL career than Goff.  Goff is too accustomed to having his receivers wide open, while Hogan seems to have to thread the needle a lot more.  Therefore, he's already ready for NFL defenses and receivers not being able to get separation.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Oh FFS, third and 18 and we give up 18 yards.  The defense is really porous.

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Another hold on that play.....

Re: Big Game Thread - yvonne - 11-21-2015

Well, one team made adjustments at halftime.
