Tackling McCaffrey must be a frustrating proposition.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - CrazedZooChimp - 09-24-2016

God damn it, GO FOR IT!

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 09-24-2016

Bailey is an outstanding punter.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - CrazedZooChimp - 09-24-2016

Nevermind, Jake Bailey is the ***** greatest. We should always punt.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - jacketree - 09-24-2016

Shaw's main weapon is Bailey.  Wow!

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - Stymie - 09-24-2016

Burns needs to sit.  WildCaff?  What's next, spiderY- 27 banana split, or whatever.

I have to agree with TP - -if Burns can't  get it done in 2-3 series, I'd go with Cryst. He can't do any worse

Am I TP?

You are indeed...

Should have gone for it, or at least been more aggressive on third down (the play was a handoff to CMac on third and six, I believe,)

Yeah. Delay of game was a good move, too. Give a bit more space. If I recall, Bill Walsh was the one who started doing that

Early in the second half, there was a commercial in which some guy says "I'm not going to lie, that sucked."
He could have been talking about the first half.

Wildcat is a normal part of the game plan, but I can't recall seeing it twice in a row before.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 09-24-2016

With the sudden lack of corner depth, Anderson is having the corners play off the receivers and Rosen is starting to notice.

It was third and four.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 09-24-2016

Decent field position.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - jacketree - 09-24-2016

Nice to see that Rosen makes brain dead throws too.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - thunder_chik - 09-24-2016

Um, pardon my saying so, but this game is not as close as the score would indicate...

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 09-24-2016

Burns just rocked that safety.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - HisKneeWasDown - 09-24-2016

The all-beef formation. Guaranteed to get you 1-2 yds when u need it.
