I have not turned off a Stanford game without finishing watching it in years.  But I can't bring myself to finish this one.  And by the looks of it, neither could 80% of the stadium crowd.  Such a sad disappointment.  And CMac possibly hurt too.  Ugh.

This actually reminds me of 1993. Highly-touted team with tons of big-name recruits during Walsh II. And they turned out to be awful (1994, too). On the other hand, they DID have some offense.

This does not look like an "average" year. This looks like Harbaugh's 2nd year headed toward Harbaugh's first year, and possibly the last year of the guy before him.

when was the last time Stanford was blown out like this in consecutive games?

This reminds me of my senior year in HS.  We had made it all the way to the CIF semis in my junior year, but in my senior year our offensive line sucked and we won only one game.  So frustrating for the players that are trying hard and handling their assignments.  So sad for CMAC and a few others that are really playing hard.  So sad for this proud program.  They worked so hard to earn the status of en elite football program.  It can turn around pretty fast when you play this poorly.

I am not going to turn this game off, even though I feel sick to my stomach.  I dread seeing us play like this again next week, on national tv, at UDFG.  Ugh-ly prospect.
