I can neither see nor hear (KZSU has had a serendipitous broadcast malfunction) the clusterF that was the first half, and for that I am blessed. Either the whole of Stanford football (from the waterpersons up to the Head Coach) "man" up in the 2nd half we are in deep doo doo.

The scorre is 10-7 SDSU with San Diego State having 4th down on our 15ish. They were going to go for it, but had a 12-man on the field infraction.

It's strange because it's as if the entire offense decided to panic in the wake of the SC game. But the SC game, while not going to be one for the scrapbook, was fine.
Now we've got a terrible performance. Randomly inserting new OL to start off the game. Now shuttling QBs in and out. These are symptoms of a staff that thinks it has problems but doesn't have any solutions to solve those problems. Ergo, the staff should depart.

I believe the question was why do we do it. I offered up the Shaw's rationale for receiving. I didn't mean to imply I favored it, but I certainly don't think it is a bad idea, as some have suggested.
