At this rate, he'll go to New York City to watch another guy win the trophy.

I will stop. This game is closer than it should be. That kick was scary.

Ok, Offense was clesrly more potent, cohesive and confident with Costello, anchored on Love, the human flash.
@UTAH will be a big test for running game.Â
But, defensive front 7 needs a lot of work. LBs banged up. Sean Barton (knee) out for season vs UCLA.Â
Agree on costly penalties. BAD TREE..Â

Solid effort, though disappointing relative to the spread. One wonders what would've happened without some dumb errors (Schultz fumble, some of the bad penalties...), or with full games from Holder and/or Arcega-Whiteside.

Stanford should build a temple at the summit of the Palo Alto foothills and make Bryce Love its god.

Solid effort, I agree, especially relative to the season so far! And the offense just seems more fluid with KJ at the helm.
However, with this D, Stanford probably loses three more games. UW, WSU and ND the most likely candidates.

Wil have to find the clip of the fake punt, sounds fun. Missed most of the second half except the very end- did our secondary really play well enough to justify the commentators best in the Pac12 comment at the end there? I know we got Holder back and Reid had himself a good first half, but that seems like a pretty big stretch of a comment.
Big win. Our offense clearly was humming with Costello at helm. Hope JJAW gets well soon.

A win! Utah will be tougher. Costello should start (and I think he will). Hope JJAW and Herbig are healthy enough to play.

Secondary definitely played well. Not sure what accounted for the high-quality effort in the second half. It wasn't anything obvious in terms of scheme or personnel (beyond Holder getting in). So dunno.
Anywhoo the yards per play leaderboard shows a pummeling: 8.78 for the good guys, 5.7 for ASU. That should be a very comfortable win. Didn't necessarily feel that way.
Enjoyed some of the younger d-linemen (Swann and Jackson) making high-impact plays.

Jet Toner is 7 for 7 on FGs and 20 for 20 on extra points for the season.

Regarding Stanford home games.............I am looking for an explanation of why duplicate Stanford jersey numbers (and the PA announcer routinely clarifying the assignment of jersey numbers) happens ?
Numbers 00-99 (a total of 100 possible numbers) is not sufficient to accommodate the active roster without duplicating numbers ?
