For several seasons I have hypothesized that Shaw's offensive ineptitude leads to increased injuries on the defense. This game appears to be supporting this.

No, it is a ridiculous statement to think it is anything but ridiculous to believe that anything about Shaw screams point shaving. At one point, Shaw was something like 9-4 against the spread in a season.

Stanford is 54-33-1 against the spread since Shaw took over. Thats srecond in FBS.
