Don't forget. It's ND. They get more than their fair share of calls. The first fade the db pushed him over, the second, the db pulled him down by the jersey preventing him from jumping.

Defensive pass interference results in the full 15 yards (or spot of the foul if less than 15 yards downfield) regardless of field position, i.e. not half the distance to the goal line.

I thought PIs in the end zone resulted in the ball being placed at the 2. I guess thats only if within 15 yards?

Correct, 15 yards is the maximum penalty for DPI in college football.

Back to the poor spot: how can they review it and still get it so wrong? Not a judgement call. And its crazy that they dont have access to all of the same camera angles that the broadcast has.
