Well deserved loss. Starting with a pathetic game plan.Horrible execution. Lousy play calling. Undisciplined play. Physically got trashed. Non existent tackling. They absolutely stunk.

I know we return a lot of players next year, but I'm increasingly having a hard time having faith in the guy who runs this program.

Where can we find 2 more W's for a bowl berth?

The problem is that most of the guys coming back are not very good nor very tough.

Feel bad for the defense, which at least played hard and with fire. Tucker had it right, though. Just not strong enough to stop the run. Congrats to Colorado, which has a better chance of going to a bowl than Stanford.

We must have watched a different game. I thought the defense was lousy. It’s just that the offense stunk even more. Colorado is not a good football team. They left a lot of points on the field. And when it mattered they took the ball and rammed it right down Stanford’s throat.

One of the more embarrassing games I've seen in recent years. Outside one long play, the offense was largely ineffective against a defense that has given up 30 points or more in every game this year - until now.
Washington State and Notre Dame will both score points and I don't see the offense keeping up with them. 6 wins looks extremely daunting now.

In a crappy conference Stanford is headed down. Notre Dame will destroy this team. Evan Weaver and pals could pitch a shutout. Of course Cal will be hard pressed to score.

We lose a winnable game. Plenty of plays/decisions to critique.
The one on my mind is in our last possession. Tied 13 all. We get 7 yards on first down. I was sure we'd run the ball. We can get 3 yards on 2 rushes I think. Instead, we pass to a covered receiver, incomplete. On third we pass for 2 yards, and we punt. They drive, run the clock down, and kick the winning FG at the whistle...what we used to do.

Very desultory performance
Colorado seemed to be hyped for homecoming

Shaw in post-game interview on Learfield with Stanford announcer basically threw our kicker under the bus ("they made their clutch field goal and we didn't...").
We SHOULD lose our next 3 games in humiliating fashion to end up 4-8; only then might we see some badly needed changes.

Wow. That is some pathetic, weak sauce by Shaw. He once again shows he's incapable of owning up to his own shortcomings. Bad, bad, bad.

Just once I would like to hear Coach Shaw say maybe the coaching staff could have done a better job prepping the team for the game.
Gosh, we only had a bye week to prep for the worst team in the Pac 12. Yikes.

I have been watching Alabama-LSU. This is simply a different world of football. Some years ago, Stanford fielded teams that might have given the Tide and the Tigers a run for their money. The current state of Stanford football is embarrassing.

Amazing game. Not sure if Stanford ever had close to that kind of talent. Maybe 2010 and 2011 that’s it

The crazy thing is that the last time LSU and Alabama met when undefeated in the regular season, the game ended 9-6. Today, it was 46-41.
